Historically, bagasse waste has been burnt in fields, thereby creating a lot of air pollution. It has also been used as a fuel, however does not prove highly efficient in that form. Manufacturing eco-friendly products from bagasse not only effectively utilises this by-product but also helps in reducing pollution, energy and water consumption.

2) Does Edible spoon contains any chemicals, additives or preservatives which is harmful for human body? Edible cutlery contains no chemicals, additives or even preservatives. They are 100% natural and baked products,

3)Edible spoon can be reuse? No, Edible cutlery cannot be reused.

4)What is shelf life of Edible spoon? Edible spoons have a shelf life of six months from the date of manufacturing. 

5) How long does it take to decompose ? Edible spoons decompose 7 to 10 days in soil in natural atmosphere.

1) What kind of wood is the cutlery made out of ? It's made from birch. Birch is a hardwood that is attractive and doesn't split or splinter very easily.

2)  Are there any coatings or chemicals on the cutlery ? No. Just birch wood. Nothing else. We do not want to slow down the decomposing process by adding a coating.

3)  Can I use the cutlery more than once ? No, our cutlery is intended to be used only once.

4) Don't you have to cut down trees to make the cutlery ? Yes, but the wood is only taken from plantation forests that are harvested sustainably. The birch trees taken from these forests were planted for the purpose of harvesting and are being harvested for at least a second time. This means that only as much wood is allowed to be taken from the area as can grow back in the same time. The trees are re-planted immediately with the purpose of harvesting them again.

5) How long does it take to decompose ? If conditions are ideal, the cutlery could completely decompose in about 80 days. In drier conditions it could take much longer.
